The airwaves in some regions were being cleared between late 2012 and mid 2013 to make way for 4G mobile broadband services. Freeview services are having to move frequencies as a result.
The clearance programme mostly affected regions that went through digital switchover prior to 2011, plus parts of the Central, STV Central and Meridian regions. Archived for reference purposes, you'll find dates, details and background information about the changes. London and Northern Ireland viewers were not affected by the clearance programme.
